"I like using QBPOS merchant service to accept credit cards because it transfers to my account in a couple of days. (I take only Master Card and Visa so I can't say how it would be for American Express). It's easy to settle sales transactions at the end of the day. I can also look up deposits on-line so I can keep track of my daily cash flow. The customer service people have also been great whenever I've needed to call them. So I'm staying with this service. I get asked to switch quite frequently but I tell them I'm happy with Quick BooksPOS and when I'm happy I do not like to change."
"The receiving items is not satisfactory with us. If prices change it will not correctly keep %makup but lowers makup down automatically on entery screen. Making necessary to double check new entry wasting time and alows mistakes."
Pros: No additional hardware required, easy to teach counter sales
Cons: inventory/ receiving vouchers, no options on merchant services

"QB being connected w/ Intuit has been a problem. Inventory control is hard to master. Ease of checkout is GREAT! So, it is a great program for the clerks, but once you delve into doing more than just counter sales, it gets quite confusing. I wish there were a class I could take or a professional I could hire to tutor me!"
